Please see the message below. The US Department of Health Services has asked us help get the word out about staffing opportunities at Alternative Care Sites on the east coast. If it does not apply to you or is not of interest feel free to pass along to others as appropriate.

Thank you

On behalf of our Alternate Care Sites Task Force assisting with the COVID19 response, we are attempting to identify medical associations or organizations that are willing and able to augment staffing needs for Alternate Care Sites (ACS) throughout the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. For your information, attached are two updates regarding licensure details per state that may be of interest to your membership.
Please join us in this effort by forwarding the following steps to your association’s membership and ask those who are available (and who do not fall in the CDC’s higher risk category) to register per the attached guidelines.
Registration process:
  1. Go to
  2. Select the state in which the individual wishes to serve
  3. Click the Registration button and complete the online form
  4. Please be patient with the state coordinators as they are in the midst of processing, vetting and assigning volunteers
Thank you for your help to increase the number of medical staff and students available to augment ACS needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to verify the validity of this email or for any questions.
